FF7? Oh yeah...good memories for sure.
I'm finishing off FF8 now though...sorta like half way through before and didn't have time to complete the game. But this time I'm gonna make it for sure. ;)

Come to think of it now, I've put in quite much effort into FF series really. Started off with FF6 on SNES(still got the console now!), and then went back for FF4 and 5. Later got FF7 and FF8 on comp, plus FF9 and FF1+2(refined) on PS. As for FF1 and FF2 I havn't had a chance to play them yet, but they seem to be very short anyway. =)

Stop showing off your PS! ;) I think only 7 and 8 were released for the PC? The newer ones too, but they're multiplayer. I would get 8, but I hear it's not good. Still..

You mean that online FFXI? Yeah only FF7, 8 and XI was released on PC, which was a pity. I was expecting 10...=(

But I think play it on console is quite different from playing it on PC though, coz for the console it's totally designed for best viewing-effects and special effects etc. Whereas if you play it on PC it's not fully designed for games, but an allrounder.

Like I've finished FF8 on PS console earlier when I borrowed it from a friend, but this time when I play it on PC I'm feeling the graphics+overall feeling isn't that great. Ok, maybe I'm just thinking too much.

I so wanna play X and XII though..=(

I thought Chrono Trigger was also quite good. Although i've developed a taste for fast-paced action games (of which Metroid Prime is standing at the pinnacle).

Yeah Chrono Trigger was excellent in terms of the SNES console. I still have the game now and it's still good. I've also got the followup of Chrono Trigger on PS, Chrono Trigger 2 or more precisely 'Chrono Cross' is its name. Somewhat the storyline isn't as fascinating as 1 however, and the battle system is fully new (I suppose Square by then was testing out something new?). Although the graphics did improve alot too(with PS drawing engine, by far much better than SNES).

What's actually good about it is that it kept the tradition of once you finish the game, you can make a save and start a new game using that save. In that way it preserves all the money you had when you finish the game, as well as all the magic, character level, best equipments etc. =)

There is one thing I really hate about 'Chrono Cross' however, is that you can really get exp points after you kill enemies. You only get 'level up' when you finish a boss, which means when you finish the game the first time, the max level you can get is probably around 40 or something, no higher than that. =(
