Alright, for a pleasant change, something not totally terrible. I can only hope that my writing starts to progressively get better, and not descend into the realm of undistilled nonsense.
The soothsayer told me
He could open my eyes;
He did, for I saw
That he was a liar.

Excellent - Paradox is indeed your forte! :)
Thank you Meera :) This one is not so bad because it just sort of "flowed" yesterday evening. The whole day I was in a pensive mood, and then as I sat there drained of energy, I shut my eyes for a second and then when I opened them, it was as though my mind was totally blank. A very interesting state of mind, because nothing seemed to make sense, which led me to boldly tell myself "Everything is an illusion". I then started thinking about how one could look past the illusion, whether there was someone that could open your eyes (this is all in the space of a few seconds..wonderful to experience the brain racing!). Anyhow, it just sort of wrote itself from then on.
I think maybe life is so abundant with paradoxes and contrasts that I can only speak in paradoxes myself!
this is really cool, *admires* :P can you really say you dislike the poems you write when gems like these are created aditya?
*twirls* this soothsayer reminds me of my english teacher, though its complicated and boring why

He said "Why am I so...?", and I didn't understand what the conclusion to the question was supposed to be, since I'm dumb :(
